Turning Your Life into a Young Adult/Middle Grade Novel with Nora Raleigh Baskin (Via Zoom)

$130.00Flannery O’Connor once said “Anyone who survived childhood has enough material to write for the rest of his life.” In this course participants will learn how to use their true life memories and tell the story they’ve always wanted to tell. We will learn the ways to successfully turn those memories into fiction, as well as the dos and don’ts, the pitfalls, and red flags for editors.

Nora Raleigh Baskin is the author of 15, soon to be 16 novels for middle grade and young adult authors, including Nine, Ten: A September 11 story (S&S). Her books have won several awards—2010 American Library Association Schneider Family Book Award for Anything But Typical (S&S), and in 2016, an International Literacy Association Notable Books for a Global Society for Ruby on the Outside (S&S).
