Description

“The constraints of form are spurs to the imagination,” writes poet George Szirtes. In this workshop, we’ll go beyond the sonnet, villanelle, sestina, and pantoum and try out new contemporary poetic forms, such as Alams, the Gigan, and the Anagram poem to explore the way form itself influences, inspires, and shapes the content of what we feel compelled to say.
