Altman Writers of Color Scholarship
The Hudson Valley Writers Center is dedicated to supporting the voices of writers of color. Scholarships are awarded based on the funding available and strength of application. Applicants are invited to apply for scholarships up to four times a year.
Please note that not receiving a scholarship for a particular course does not impact future applications for alternative courses.

Limp Wrist LGBTQIA+ Scholarship
Limp Wrist is an online poetry journal with queer sensibility that promotes LGBTQIA+ poets, non-binary poets, and their allies. In celebration of its two-year anniversary and in honor of its mission, Limp Wrist is sponsoring a spring and fall Hudson Valley Writers Center scholarship for individuals that identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Limp Wrist founder and editor Dustin Brookshire shared, “Hudson Valley Writers Center workshops are a valuable resource. I’m glad that we’re able to save a spot at the HVWC table for a member of the LGBTQIA+ that might not have been able to attend otherwise.” Visit Limp Wrist online at https://www.
