March Spring Madness Mandala Generative Workshop with Karen Finley (via Zoom)

March 24 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

$150.00

This will be a three-hour poetry workshop with Karen Finley. There will be at least three scholarships awarded for this class. Please email [email protected] with any questions.

A mandala is a circular composition of symbols, images and shapes. Mandala in Sanskrit means circle. In our workshop we will create our own mandala either with images or words and let our circle speak back to us for illumination. We will have a series of prompts, meditations for us to further inspire our writing practice. We will focus with contemplation to uncover and apply symbolic meaning, and offer artistic awakening with our creative practice. The writing encounter will weave inward and outward connecting to a collective unconscious spirit for activating the imagination. We will discover a deeper intuitive context and symbolic guides especially needed during these troubled times. Now moving forward from winter to spring, we begin to declare new signs of blooming, growth, resilience, hope and joy
