Making Order From Chaos: Turning Our Wild Lives Into Organized Received Forms with Alexis Sears (via Zoom)

$130.00Life is unpredictable and some things, good and bad, we simply cannot make sense of. In this workshop, we will focus on taking significant events from our pasts and attempting to organize them into received formal poems. Forms such as the sonnet, villanelle, and sestina give us poets the opportunity to take control, using strict rules and structure to transform the incomprehensible into breathtaking, masterful works of art.
NB: This class will be taught on Zoom and will be capped at 15 students. Registrants will receive the Zoom link to the email address they use to register.
